A tranquil weather pattern has replaced the violent weekend storms.

This Evening: Mostly clear and warm.

Temperatures: 80s/70s | Wind: N/NW 10 mph

Overnight: Clear and comfortably cool

Lows: 54 - 64 | Wind: North 5 mph

Tuesday: Mostly sunny and pleasant

Highs: 80-84 | Wind: North 5 mph

The feel of September is in the air. Comfortably warm days and comfortably cool nights will be enjoyed through Wednesday. On Thursday and Friday, warmer and more humid air will return to the area. High temperatures will approach the 90 degree mark both days. Isolated thunderstorms are possible on Thursday and scattered thunderstorms are possible Friday with the approach of a cold front. Weather conditions over the weekend are dependent on what happens with Hurricane Irene. It is not out of the question cloudiness and rain associated with the storm could affect the region but at this point, there are equal or better chances that it won’t.
