Another cool and crisp August night ahead tonight with mainly clear skies overhead and lows ranging from the mid-50s to low-60s. Wednesday high pressure will remain in control of our weather providing mostly sunny skies with highs in the mid-80s. Winds will shift to the south tonight and Wednesday which means that it may be just a touch more humid. A cold front will approach and push into the area Thursday into Friday and could trigger showers and storms. As for the weekend, the wild card remains Irene and the exact track this storm chooses to take. It is still way too early to get into the specifics as to what local impacts this storm could bring. With that said, it is certainly something that we are keeping a close eye on and will be able to provide more details in the coming days. So stay tuned.
~ Have a good day!
