Eyes on Irene and it will likely impact our weather later in the week.  But for now a delightful evening and another beautiful day ahead.  I'll update with the latest likely/possible of Irene on us later.

Irene now growing stornger and watches likely going up Florida and SE coast.  The probability of Irene becoming a mahor hurricnae with winds near 120 mph the next 2 days is increasing as is the threat to the South Carolina and North Carolina coast.  I would begin to think about changing plans to travel to the beaches and spots like Outer Banks this weekend.  Best case is Irene just grazes NC coast and then by early Monday racing northeast and next week vacation beach plans can carry on.  We'll keep you posted
