Irene Still on track but shows signs of some weakening  Latest update  a bit after 11 with the latest observations

Tonight: Increasing Clouds Chance Light rain by Morning

Lows: 69-75 | Wind: SE-NE 5-10

Saturday: Rain and Wind Increasing Dangerous Conditions by Night

Highs: 76-81 | Wind: NE 15-35 by evening

Tomorrow Night: Heavy Rain and Damaging Winds Power Outages

Lows: 74-79 | Wind: NE 25-50 Higher East and Bay

Irene still on track to cross Outer Banks and pass close to Ocean City late Saturday night.

7:45 update many observations and looking at water vapor imagry there has been dry air bround in, perhaps from the SE coast of US and this has lead to some disorganization.  More and more track looks well to the east of DC and serious wind and rain by late Saturday but I may scale back some of the highest wind estimates and the track means this should not produce as much damage as Isable in 2003 that roared to our west
