It was an active afternoon and evening for many folks yesterday, and we are expecting similar conditions later today.
Friday: Partly Cloudy, Scat'd PM Storms
Highs: 86-90 | Wind: S 2-8
Tonight: Lingering Storms Early, Patchy Fog
Lows: 66-72 | Wind: S 2-8
Saturday: Partly Cloudy, Slight Chance PM Storm
Highs: Near 90 | Wind: S 5-10
We're starting our Friday with sunshine and seasonable temperatures, but more scattered storms are in the works for this afternoon. Parts of our region had heavy rain and hail yesterday, and we cannot rule out similar conditions today with a few, brief severe storms possible this afternoon and evening. Today will feel just like the past few days with highs near 90, and this will be the case into the weekend as well. It still looks as though Saturday will be the better day this weekend with partly cloudy skies, and only a slight chance of a few afternoon storms. Whereas on Sunday, we have a better chance of widespread thunderstorms some of which could come by lunchtime. Then a cold front will drop the humidity for Tuesday.
