Thursday: Partly Sunny; Mtn. Shower Possible
Highs: Mid 80s | Wind: SE 5-10
Another refreshing start on this Wednesday morning with temperatures in the 50s and 60s. Temperatures will rebound nicely under sunny to partly cloudy skies and top out in the mid-80s this afternoon. Skies will gradually clear overnight allowing temperatures to again drop off into the mid-50s to mid-60s. Low level winds will pump back in added moisture Thursday and Friday producing added clouds each day. Additionally, upper level energy swinging through may be enough to support a few showers over the mountains Thursday into Friday but most locations east of the Blue Ridge will remain dry. The heat and humidity make a strong return this weekend with temperatures back around 90 degrees and dew points back near or around 70 degrees. There will be enough instability in place that a few showers or storms may develop during the afternoon hours Saturday. A weak frontal boundary will approach Sunday and may stall nearby into early next week keeping the chance of rain in the forecast through the Holiday weekend.
~ Have a good day!
