Expect sunshine and some patchy clouds today as we wrap up the month of August on a pleasant note. Highs in the mid 80s and low humidity will make for a comfortable day. Overnight lows once again slip back into the 50s and 60s making for a refreshing evening. High pressure will move northeast leading to a moist flow and could bring added clouds for the end of the week. However, any shower activity would be confined to the far west with temperatures remaining seasonable in the mid 80s.
An approaching cold front over the weekend will push temperatures back to near the 90° mark with noticeable humidity. At this point Saturday looks fairly sunny and dry with scattered thunderstorms likely by Sunday. At this point we cannot rule out a few storms on Labor Day Monday, but the risk is slight and we are still many days out so check back frequently. Have a great day!
