Showers and isolated storms will ease overnight as a cold front moves east of the area. Overnight lows will fall into the middle 60s to lower 70s. High pressure will build over the mid-Atlantic on Monday allowing for clouds to clear and abundant sunshine by afternoon. Slightly breezy conditions are expected as drier, more stable air moves into the area. Highs will be in the lower to middle 80s.
Beautiful weather continues into Tuesday and most of Wednesday. The forecast becomes a bit more tricky looking toward the upcoming weekend as remnants of what is now Tropical Storm Irene may bring rain to the region. With many days to go, this forecast has the potential to change significantly.
