Low pressure continues to move out over the Atlantic today and breezy northwesterly winds will help usher in a cooler airmass overhead. Highs should reach the mid 80s under partly sunny skies. An isolated shower is possible with the highest liklihood north and east of D.C. Tonight, skies will clear and winds will slacken with lows in the 60s in the suburbs to near 70 inside the Beltway.

Wednesday looks nice with high pressure moving overhead. Sunny skies will be expected with warmer temperatures in the upper 80s. A cold front will begin to push into the area on Thursday, bringing back the chance for showers and thunderstorms. The same front will continue to drape over the region on Friday which will help continue the chance the afternoon storms. Highs each day will be hot in the upper 80s to near 90 degrees.
