Rain chance look to continue through the weekend.

Tonight: Showers Likely

Lows: 60s | Wind: S 3-5 m.p.h.

Thursday: Mostly Cloudy, Morning Showers

Highs: Near 80 | Wind: S 4-8 m.p.h.

Friday: Mostly Cloudy, Rain Likely, Possibly Heavy

Highs: Near 80 | Wind: S 5-10 m.p.h.

A steady flow of warm, moist air will continue across the region. Skies will remain mostly cloudy through Friday with increasing chances of showers and thunderstorms. In fact, showers and thunderstorms will be likely on Friday as a cold front approaches, then crosses the area. Temperatures will approach 80 degrees.

Over the weekend, we will still be in the shadow of the cold front. This means a couple more unsettled days are likely. The way I see it, skies will be partly to mostly cloudy on Saturday with a continuing 30% chance of showers. By Sunday, rain chances will drop a bit more but an isolated shower is not out of the question. And we may see a little more sunshine on Sunday especially the farther north and west you go from Washington.
