Chilly damp day ahead, wet work week ahead

Temperatures should hang in the 60s today with scattered showers and cloudy skies.

This Afternoon: Rain Likely, Cool & Breezy

Highs: Upper 60s | Wind: NE 10-15 m.p.h.

Overnight: Mostly Cloudy, Rain Likely

Lows: 60s | Wind: E 10 m.p.h.

Wednesday: Mostly Cloudy, Rain Likely

Highs: 70s | Rain: 1"+ Possible

A Flash Flood Watch is in effect until tomorrow afternoon with heavy rainfall expected.

More rain will be possible again today, becoming heavy at times with cool temperatures in the 60s. Winds will be breezy out of the northeast around 10 to 15 m.p.h. Tonight will continue to be cool, breezy and wet with rain still likely and lows in the 60s. Rain chances appear like they will hold through the day on Wednesday with warmer temperatures in the 70s.

Rain chances will continue Thursday and Friday to end the work week with highs in the upper 70s to near 80 degrees. Rainfall totals over the next couple of days will be very high with some places expecting to receive over 5 inches. The heaviest amounts are expected to be north and west of town over the mountains. Chances for showers and a few storms will continue to be possible this weekend with highs back near the 80 degree mark.
