D.C. forecast: Comfortable Monday, showers Tuesday

Overnight temperatures will fall into the 40s and 50s. Monday will be dry and comfortable, but changes are on the way.

Overnight: Mostly to Partly Cloudy

Lows: 50°- 56° | Wind: Calm

Monday: Partly Cloudy and Comfortable

Highs: 70°- 75° | Wind: Southeast 10-15 mph

Tuesday: Increasing Clouds, PM Thunderstorms Possible (40%)

Highs: 74°- 79° | Wind: South 5-10 mph

Mostly to partly cloudy sky conditions are expected overnight as temperatures fall into the 40s and 50s. Areas with limited cloud cover will see cooler temperatures.

The forecast for Monday calls for highs in the 70s with a nice mix of sun and clouds. Slightly warmer air moves into the mid-Atlantic Tuesday with highs on Wednesday and Thursday around 80 degrees. Winds will be out of the south making it feel a bit more humid, shower and thunderstorm chances will also increase midweek.
