Dangerous Flooding Still in Many Areas

Flash Flood Warnings much metro area 11:15PM and possibly tonight

Overnight: One more batch heavy rains coming to the metro area then cloudy humid late

Lows: 67-72 | Precipitation: another 1-2" DC metro area after 10PM

Friday: Mostly Cloudy Risk Heavy rains this time Blue Ridge area

Highs: 78-83 | Rain: 40% chance DC 80% west

This Weekend: Sunny risk PM T'storm Sat. Mostly Sunny Sunday

Highs: 79-83 | Wind: Light

Flash Flood warnings continue for much metro area through later tonight.  This persistent pattern of slow moving "training" rains will continue to break up a bit late tonight.  Unfortunately there still could be one more batch of slow moving tropical rains tomorrow more likely to the west with some threat of heavy rains near the Blue Ridge and Shenandoah Valley.  Keep you posted but finally by the weekend some sunshine and Sunday looks sunny and warm.
