A potent cold front pushed through overnight opening the cool Canadian air flood gates! Temperatures early this morning dipped into the 40s area-wide. After a clear, crisp start, expect clouds to filter in throughout the day with highs in the mid to upper 60s. It may not be as brisk overnight, thanks to added clouds…still upper 40s to lower 50s.
Canadian High Pressure will ensure a continual stretch of unseasonably cool weather with skies ranging from partly cloudy to mostly cloudy through Sunday. This as an area of low pressure along the coast of the Carolinas will continue to be too close for comfort…keeping the added cloud cover and presenting the possibility of a shower or two, especially south and east of the city. By Monday, as the high center moves east of the area, temperatures will slowly moderate and sunshine will become more wide-spread. Have a great weekend.
