Chances of rain increase to round out the week and kick off the first day of Fall.
Thursday: Mostly Cloudy; Few Scattered Showers; Isolated PM Storm
Highs: Around 80 | Wind: SW 5-10
Overnight: Scattered Showers; Stray Storm
Lows: Upper 60s | Wind: SE 5-10
Friday: Scattered Showers & Storms; Some Heavy
Highs: Mid 70s | Wind: SE 5-10
The threat of rain remains in the forecast today through the weekend as we are stuck in between an area of low pressure to our west and high pressure to our east. The result is a moist and unsettled air-mass that will be in place into next week. The best chance of rain will arrive tomorrow as a cold front comes into play. Scattered showers and even a couple thunderstorms can be expected Friday with locally heavy rain possible. The weekend will bring lower chances of rain but will still feature a fair amount of cloudiness and a slight chance of a shower or two.
~ Have a good day!
