Southerly winds will make for warm and muggy conditions for the remainder of the day with highs around 80 degrees and dew points in the upper 60s. A few isolated showers will be possible later this evening. Tonight will feature the continued chance for a few showers with lows in the 60s.
On Friday, a disturbance will move north into our region which will make for cloudy skies and the chance for rain throughout the majority of the day. Rain may be heavy at times and a Flash Flood Watch is in effect from tomorrow morning through tomorrow afternoon for the majority of the day. Multiple inches of rain may be possible in some of the heavier bands. Highs should reach the upper 70s.
The weekend ahead will feature improving conditions, with a few lingering showers on Saturday before afternoon clearing. Highs should reach around the 80 degree mark. Sunday will feature partly sunny skies and a stray afternoon shower or storm with highs still around 80 degrees.
