Flash Flood Warnings will continue through the afternoon as heavy rain moves into the area from the south. Expect rainfall totals of 1 to 3 inches in and around the immediate D.C. Metro area. Flooding will be possible so be sure not to cross any flooded roadways. There is also the chance for a few severe storms with damaging winds and dangerous lightning.
Tonight, rain will continue to be likely with lows in the 60s. Thursday will continue to have the chance for rain with highs back in the 70s. The rain chances are expected to diminish some by Friday and even lesser chances are expected for Friday and Saturday.
