Mostly cloudy, warm and humid conditions continue around the region. Any shower activity through the evening will be isolated. However, all this will change tomorrow as a cold front approaches the area. Areas of rain and thunderstorms will increase in number throughout the day tomorrow with the potential of 1-2 inch rainfall totals…thus the WATCH. An area of low pressure will ride along the front enhancing the rainfall potential.
This front will stall before it pass through the mid-Atlantic. As a result, unsettles condition will continue throughout the weekend. Scattered showers are possible on Saturday with only limited sunshine. We cannot rule out an isolated shower on Sunday. It appears it will be quite a few days before we see a weather pattern that would provide a string of clear weather days.
