Today will feature mostly cloudy to partly sunny skies, muggy conditions and a chance for more showers and storms. The upper-level low continues to spin to the west with little pieces of energy sliding around it into our region. One came through this morning bringing the showers and storms and another is expected later this evening into tonight, allowing for more storms. Highs should reach the near the 80 degree mark today. Tonight, storms will be possible along with some patchy fog with lows in the 60s.
Thursday will continue to have a chance for showers, though it appears the best chance will be focused in the morning hours and mainly to the north. Friday will be a transitional day as a frontal system moves through the region. Expect partly sunny skies with highs in the mid 70s. The weekend ahead will feature passing showers, breezy winds and cooler temperatures as a stronger cold front passes to the east. Highs should only reach the low to mid 60s under partly sunny skies.
