Rain continues to fall as the moisture from Lee continues to stream into the region. Expect off and on showers with some imbedded downpours. In addition to the rain today some strong to possibly severe thunderstorms cannot be ruled out as a warm front lifts through leading to a more unstable atmosphere. Expect a milder day with highs in the mid to upper 70s.

Lee will eventually stall out over the Ohio Valley keeping the region unsettled through the end of the week. While it will remain gray and damp, shower chances decrease somewhat as the week progresses. As heaviest rain remains to the west, eventually all of the water will have to come down-stream so river, creek and stream flooding continues to be a big concern. The Potomac may crest well-above flood stage by Friday, so stay tuned for updates. Have a good day!
