A Flash Flood Watch is in effect until this evening for the majority of the D.C. area.
After rainfall totals in the past 30 hours or so above 10 inches in places, more showers and storms will again be possible today with a few becoming heavy at times. Otherwise expect mostly cloudy skies with highs around 80 degrees. Tonight, shower activity will diminish and lows will fall into the 60s to near 70 degrees.
Saturday will feature partly sunny skies and a few showers with highs in the low 80s. Sunday should continue to improve with highs in the low to mid 80s under partly cloudy skies.
