The area of low pressure responsible for the gusty winds and cloudy skies will gradually loosen its grip on the region as it moves ENE through PA and NY. It will remain breezy tonight and turn colder, as well, with lows ranging from near 40 degrees in outlying areas to the upper 40s in the metropolitan area. High pressure will build over our area for the next few days producing partly to mostly sunny skies and slightly below average temperatures. No major rain-producing systems are expected to affect this area for the next 6 days.
