The gusty winds are starting to relax as the low slowly pulls away. High pressure will move in with increasing sunshine but continued below average temperatures. Breezes will kick at 10 to 15 mph with a few higher gusts. Overnight winds calm and lows will slip into the low to mid 40s. Tomorrow brings lots of sun and continued cool readings but winds will be calm. Weekend lows could slip into the upper 30s in the ‘burbs, so if you are heading out in the evening bring a jacket! A weak disturbance will slide north of the area Monday tossing a few clouds our way, but rain will remain absent from the forecast until late next week when a storm approaches from the Plains and Great Lakes.
