Today: Partly Cloudy, Gusty and Cooling

Highs: 60s | Wind: SW 15-25+

Overnight: Scattered Clouds, Windy & Cool

Lows: 45°-50° | Wind: SW 10-20

Tomorrow: Mix Clouds/Sun, Continued Cool & Breezy

Highs: Low 60s | Wind: W 10-15

Rain has moved out but a potent low pressure system continues to crank off to the west and will usher some intense gusts, possible up to 40mph! Otherwise expect partly cloudy skies will cool temperatures in the low to middle 60s with today’s high already being met at a few minutes past midnight. Winds continue overnight with lows slipping into the 40s to lower 50s. Tomorrow brings a less intense wind under a mix of clouds and sun. Highs will remain below average in the low 60s.

We are in store for another dry weekend, our 3rd in a row. However, unlike the 80s and 70s of weekend’s past, we are shooting for a cooler low 60s. There will be plenty of sunshine for all weekend activities, including all the homecoming festivities at Howard University. If you plan to be out late at night, bundle up because temperatures will slip into the 40s, maybe even some upper 30s in the western ‘burbs. Have a great day!
