No Saturday snow, but hey, it's still October. We have had 1 inch of snow in Washington as early as October 20. . .in 1940. The weather front and weak storm will move across today with light showers but another stronger wave in the atmosphere (I'm still working on my "model" blog) will move over us on Saturday. If this were December or January we snow lovers would really be excited. But right now while there will be cold air over us, the lower part of the atmosphere will still only be chilly and any precipitation in the area will be rain. Yes it will be snowing several thousand feet up so some of the high spots across northern Maryland may see we snow and even enough to whiten the ground. As the storm stays well east and races off we will just be cold for Sunday and bundle up for the Marine Corp Marathon.
