A Freeze Warning is in effect for the entire D.C. area from Midnight to 9am Sunday morning.

Tonight: Clearing, Breezy & COLD

Lows: Mid 20s to Lower 30s | Wind: NW 10-15 m.p.h.

Sunday: Mostly Sunny, Chilly

Highs: Mid to Upper 40s | Wind: NW 6-12 m.p.h.

Monday: Partly Sunny, A Bit Warmer

Highs: Around 50 | Wind: S 3-5 m.p.h.

As the first winter storm of the season comes to a close, winds will stay breezy and skies will begin to clear. As temperatures are already in the 30s, it will not be hard for them to drop into the mid 20s in some areas tonight to lower 30s in town. This is why there is a freeze warning for the D.C. area from Midnight to 9am Sunday.

Tomorrow should be breezy, sunny and a touch warmer with highs in the mid to upper 40s. The start to the Marine Corps Marathon will be quite cold with starting temperatures right at the 30 degree mark. Monday will feature partly sunny skies and highs a touch warmer nearing the 50 degree mark.
