We have to deal with some rain over the next couple of days but dry weather will return for the weekend.

Wednesday: Cloudy, Cool, & Breezy; Areas of Rain & Scattered Showers

Highs: Steady Or Falling Slightly | Wind: ENE 10-15

Overnight: More Showers; Stray Storm

Lows: Upper 50s - Low 60s | Wind: ENE 5-10

Thursday: AM Showers; Then Variable Cloudiness; More Showers At Night

Highs: Low 70s | Wind: SE 5-10

An area of low pressure will push through the region today and tonight producing areas of rain and scattered showers through this time period. Winds will breezy out of the east/northeast at 10-15mph with some guts around 20mph possible. Temperatures will likely be steady if not fall slightly during the afternoon hours. Some shower activity will linger into the morning hours tomorrow before this first low exits. The highest rainfall looks to be west of town near and along the Blue Ridge where as much as two inches may fall. Elsewhere, one inch of rain or less is expected at this time. Another system will bring more showers after sunset Thursday and into Friday, mainly during the first half of the day. High pressure returns over the weekend bringing a return of sunshine and nice Fall weather.

~ Have a good day!
