What a great start to the day with mostly sunny skies and temperatures approaching the 60 degree mark. This afternoon should remain partly cloudy but mostly cloudy conditions will be experienced in the western suburbs. Tonight, skies will stay partly cloudy with lows in the mid 40s around town and possibly even the upper 30s in the western suburbs.

The weekend looks fantastic with Fall in the air as highs reach around the low to mid 60s each day. A few fair-weather cumulus clouds will be noted each day but no precipitation is expected until next week. Be sure to catch those Fall colors and send in a few pictures if you manage to get some good ones. You can also send tweet them to me at @alexliggitt
