Thursday: Partly Sunny; Windy & Cool
Highs: Low 60s | Wind: SW 15-25 (Gusts 30-35)
We will be stuck in between an area of low pressure tracking up the east coast and another area of low pressure that will pass to the west of the Appalachian mountains today. The result of these two systems will be periods of rain and thunderstorms at times today. Some of the storms this afternoon could be strong to severe with the main threats being damaging winds. Behind this system winds will increase and will likely gust up to 30-35 mph with daytime highs in the low 60s Thursday. Even though the weekend will feature plenty of sunshine daytime highs will only make it to around 60 degrees or into the low 60s at most.
