With high pressure locked in place over the next couple of days, expect more tranquil weather with sunny skies and highs around the 70 degree mark. Overnight lows should fall into the 40s in the suburbs to lower 50s inside the Beltway. Temperatures are expected to rise over the next few days, with highs in the lower 70s Friday, mid to upper 70s Saturday and near the 80 degree mark on Sunday. The next chance for any rainfall appears to be next Tuesday night into Wednesday as an area of low pressure forms in the Atlantic off the coast of Florida and tracks north into the Mid Atlantic.
