After dealing with an extended period of unsettled weather, we going to enter a period of quiet and rather pleasant weather now straight through the weekend. The upper low that has lingered across the region for days, has begun its departure and high pressure is moving into place. Today will be a transition day as skies become partly sunny, and we finally climb back into the 60s. High pressure will remain the dominate weather feature overhead Wednesday through the weekend. Temperatures will moderate back to near average tomorrow and then drop to around 70 degrees Thursday and Friday. A further moderation in temperatures will occur over the weekend with highs well into the 70s Saturday and perhaps near 80 by Sunday.
