D.C.'s Monday weather: The chilly rain is finally leaving
Overnight: Cloudy Still Chilly and Damp a Few Sprinkles
Lows: 43-48 | Rain: 40% Chance Lingering Sprinkles
Tuesday: Becoming Partly Sunny and Milder
Highs: 64-68 | Wind: W-NW 8-15 mph
Wednesday: Mostly Sunny and Delightful
Temperatures: 51 Early Rising to 73 Afternoon | Wind: NW 5-10
There are still some lingering chilly showers tongith but the spinning pool of chilly damp air is finally sliding to the east. The last of the unending cold rain showers are now just west of DC. There will still be leftover moisture and a chill early Tuesday morning. But by Tuesday mid-morning to afternoon northwest winds will bring drier air in and the sun (hooray!) will return. High pressure will replace this soggy air for much of the week with some great October weather: mild days and cool, crisp autumnal mornings. About time, I know.
