If you don't have weekend plans outdoors you should make some.  The weather is looking B-E-A-utiful!

Friday: Showers Early Far South; Then Gradual Clearing & Breezy

Highs: Upper 50s | Wind: N 10-15 Gusts 20-25mph

Tonight: Mainly Clear & Cold

Lows: 30s | Wind: N 10-15

Saturday: Mostly Sunny; Unseasonably Cool

Highs: Lower 50s | Wind: NE 5-10

An area of low pressure will push by to our south this morning and then off to the east by this afternoon. The result of this feature will be partly sunny skies this morning then gradual clearing during the afternoon. The exception will be for areas south of town from Culpeper to Southern Calvert County where they will see some showers early this morning but will also see gradual clearing as we head into the afternoon. Temperatures will also be a bit cooler topping out in the upper 50s and will be accompanied by breezy winds that could gust up to 25-30 mph.

The weekend is still looking good as a new high pressure system will slide into place allowing for plenty of sunshine Saturday with highs in the low to mid-50. Sunday we may see a few more clouds in the mix but still plenty of sunshine as easterly winds come into play. The nice weather persists into early next week.

***REMINDER: Before you go to bed Saturday night set your clocks back one hour as we return to Eastern Standard Time***

~ Have a good day & great weekend!
