A rainy Wednesday and a cooler second half of the week

A cold front will slide through the region today and into the overnight producing periods of rain and showers.

Wednesday: Periods Of Rain & Showers; T-Storm Poss. Especially South & East

Highs: Low – Mid 60s | Wind: Becoming NW 5-10

Overnight: Scattered Showers; Breezy

Lows: 40s | Wind: N 10-15 Gusts 20-25

Thursday: Lingering AM Showers; PM Clearing & Breezy

Highs: Around 50 | Wind: NW 10-15 Gusts 25-30

A cold front will slide through the region today and into the overnight producing periods of rain and showers. A few pockets of heavier rain will be possible at times and we may even see a few thunderstorms in the mix especially south and east of town. High temperatures will be in the low to mid 60s with a few exceptions where temperatures may be warmer or even cooler. Scattered showers will continue overnight as winds increase and become breezy out of the north. A few showers may linger Thursday morning before the system departs and gradual clearing occurs. Winds will remain gusty Thursday with daytime highs around 50 degrees. We will round out the week with sunshine and chilly highs around 50 degrees during the afternoon hours. Temperatures moderate some Saturday back into the mid-50s under mostly sunny skies. Sunday we will be back in the low 60s with partly cloudy skies overhead. The next system will head our way Sunday night into Monday.
