Colder air is on the way tonight, but ample sun and few clouds will push temperatures into 60s, making for another clear and crisp autumn day in D.C.
Today: Sunny & Seasonable w/ Added High Clouds
Highs: Low 60s | Wind: South 5-10 mph
Overnight: Mostly Cloudy Skies, Not As Cool (Shower Far South)
Lows: 39°-47° | Wind: Light
Tomorrow: Becoming Partly Cloudy, Breezy
Highs: Near 60° | Wind: North 10-15
Today starts off cold, but features ample sun to push the mercury into the lower 60s. Added high clouds will stream in late-day ahead of our next approaching system. It still appears the bulk of the energy will pass to our south tonight into tomorrow with nothing more locally than added clouds. Showers should remain well south of the city. Skies become partly cloudy tomorrow afternoon with a bit of a breeze pushing cooler air in. By Saturday sun is back in full force but temperatures will struggle to get out of the low 50s. Sunday remains sunny but not quite as cool. Have a great day.
Daylight Savings Time (DST) ends early Sunday morning as the area moves again into Eastern Standard Time (EST); clocks go back one hour before bed Saturday night which means our sunset at this time next week will be at 4:59PM!
