Patchy fog across Southern Maryland and the Northern Neck will slowly mix out between now and 10AM. Otherwise, we have another beautiful Fall day ahead with plenty of sunshine overhead and high temperatures in the mid to upper 60s by this afternoon. Clouds will roll in tonight as our next cold front head our way. Once again tonight patchy and perhaps locally dense fog may develop especially from I95 south and east. The cold front will cross the region Thursday and may have just enough moisture to squeeze out a few scattered showers but moisture with this front is very limited. Winds will begin to increase in the wake of the front during the afternoon and evening hours. Friday (Veterans Day) the front will be well east of us and high pressure will begin to build into place. We will have plenty of sunshine Friday but it will be accompanied by gusty northwest winds and highs only in the low 50s. The weekend once again looks like a winner featuring sunshine with highs in the upper 50s to around 60 degrees. The next system may impact the region Tuesday and Wednesday.
~ Have a good day!
