Highs will be much cooler in the D.C. area today only reaching around the 50 degree mark.

This Afternoon: Partly Cloudy, Breezy & Chilly

Highs: Near 50 | Wind: NW 10-20 m.p.h.

Tonight: Mainly Clear, Cold

Lows: Upper 20s to Mid 30s | Wind: WSW 5 m.p.h.

Saturday: Mostly Sunny, Pleasant

Highs: Upper 50s | Wind: SW 5-10 m.p.h.

A cold front moved through the region yesterday and behind it gusty winds have helped usher in a cooler airmass with highs only approaching the 50 degree mark today. Tonight, winds will diminish and with clear skies and light winds, lows will plummet into the 20s in the suburbs to mid 30s inside the Beltway.

Saturday will be nice with highs back into the upper 50s under mostly sunny skies. Sunday will continue the fair weather with highs around 60 degrees under partly cloudy skies. Winds may become a bit breezy in the afternoon but overall expect a beautiful weekend.
