High pressure is building into the area…hence the strong, gusty winds. Skies will clear tonight but in the meantime, decks of clouds and isolated showers and sprinkles will continue. As high pressure strengthens and moves south of our area, not only will we see a lot of sunshine but also a noticeable warming trend. (see detailed forecast) Cloudiness will increase on Sunday afternoon as a new area of low pressure may approach the region. At this point, it appears scattered showers will be possible Sunday evening and again on Monday.
