Cool and damp Thursday before some weekend improvments

Upper level energy will push through the region today producing scattered showers that will gradually tapper as we head into the afternoon hours.

Thursday: Scattered Showers; Mainly AM; Windy With Some PM Clearing

Highs: 40s Steady Or Falling | Wind: 40s Steady Or Falling

Overnight: Mainly Clear & Colder; Breezy

Lows: Mid 20s – Low 30s | Wind: NW 5-10+

Friday: Sunny; Unseasonably Cold

Highs: Mid – Upper 40s | Wind: W 5-10

A few wet snow flakes may also mix in north and west of town. Temperatures will remain steady or fall slightly in the 40 and will be accompanied by north west winds that will gust up to 25-30mph at times. Skies will clear tonight and in combination with northerly winds will allow temperatures to bottom out in the mid-20s to low 50s. High pressure will be in control of our weather Friday and Saturday allowing for a good deal of sunshine. Daytime highs will moderate from the mid to upper 40s Friday into the low to mid 50s Saturday. Partly sunny skies can be expected for the second half of the weekend with unseasonably mild high temperatures around 60 degrees.
