Cooler temperatures through the weekend in D.C., Va. and Md.

Clouds will be back for the afternoon with highs a bit closer to late November normals.

This Afternoon: Mostly Cloudy, Cooler

Highs: Low 50s | Wind: W 10-15 m.p.h.

Tonight: Clearing Skies, Cold

Lows: 30s | Wind: WNW 10 m.p.h.

Thursday: Sunny and Cool

Highs: Low 50s | Wind: NNW 6-12 m.p.h.

Low pressure continues to move out of the Mid Atlantic and Northeast and cooler temperatures have filtered back into the D.C. area. Expect a few added clouds this afternoon with highs around 50 degrees or lower 50s. Tonight, skies will clear and temperatures will fall into the 30s. Winds will remain a little breezy at times, making it feel like the 20s.

Thursday, high pressure will move overhead leading to sunny skies with highs again in the lower 50s. Friday is expected to be a touch warmer in the mid 50s under mostly sunny skies.

The weekend ahead will feature more sunshine with Saturday reaching the lower 50s and Sunday topping out in the upper 50s. The next chance for rain will hold out until next week.
