High pressure will remain camped out across the East, providing sunny days and clear, cool nights through early next week. Temperatures will slowly moderate back to normal by Wednesday. A low pressure well off the Southeast Coast will then start to make headway north as it gets picked up by an incoming cold front Thursday. The end result will be the threat for some showers and gusty northwesterly winds that will defoliate the trees now at their peak east of I-95. Temperatures will tumble behind the front Thursday night and Friday with dry conditions into the weekend. Have a great day.
