Low pressure passes to our south this morning with light rain possible from Spotsylvania, Virginia eastward through extreme southern Maryland. Otherwise expect skies to become partly cloudy with a gusty breeze out of the north as highs struggle to make it to 60 degrees. Clear and colder conditions return tonight as the mercury dips into the 30s. The weekend brings lots of sun, but it will remain cool with highs only in the low 50s Saturday; mid to upper 50s for Sunday.

Daylight Saving Time ends early Sunday morning as the area moves again into Eastern Standard Time; clocks go back one hour before bed Saturday night which means our sunset at this time next week will be before 5 p.m.!
