Areas of heavy rain will be likely today as a potent are of low pressure and associated cold front move into the region today. Rainfall amounts will be around an inch or more and high temperatures will near the 60 degree mark. Rain will continue to be possible this evening and tonight with the potential for a few rumbles of thunder as well. Lows will be cooler, falling into the 40s by the early morning hours. Thursday will continue to have the chance for a few showers with highs only reaching the upper 40s to near 50 degrees. Skies should begin to clear by tomorrow afternoon.
Friday and Saturday will feature mostly sunny skies and cooler temperatures. Highs Friday should only reach the upper 40s to near 50 degrees and Saturday they are expected to rise into the mid 50s. Another weak system will approach from the west Sunday with highs near 60 degrees. A few added clouds are expected by Sunday afternoon but showers aren't in the forecast until Monday at this time.
