The heaviest rain moved through the region overnight leaving in its wake flooding issues in Washington, Frederick, and Carroll Counties in Maryland. A stray lingering shower will be possible before clouds mix with some sunshine later this morning and mid-day. A few more spotty showers will be possible this afternoon otherwise expect windy conditions with falling temperatures. A wind advisory is in place to the west for locations above 1000ft. where winds could gust up to 50mph later this afternoon. Elsewhere expect winds to gust up to 35mph at times this afternoon. Gradual clearing will occur tonight however winds will remain gusty as temperatures fall into the 30s. Thanksgiving looks a bit breezy early then winds will diminish and with plenty of sunshine overhead we will warm into the upper 50s. The warming trend continues Friday and through the weekend with daytime highs in the low to mid 60s.
