Low pressure continues to push through the D.C. area this afternoon and will allow for cloudy skies, chilly temperatures and the chance for a few rogue snowflakes and sprinkles. Highs will only reach the mid to upper 40s. Tonight, skies will clear and temperatures will plummet into the 20s in the suburbs to near 30 degrees in the city. This could be the coldest night so far this season.
Friday will continue to be chilly with highs only reaching the mid to upper 40s under mostly sunny skies. Winds will begin to diminish by the morning. This weekend, sunny skies will continue to be the dominating feature on Saturday with highs a bit milder in the low to mid 50s. Sunday will be pleasant, with highs in the low 60s under partly sunny skies.
