Unseasonably warm start to the week; wet Wednesday travel

Cloudy skies and warm temperatures are expected for the start of the work week as well as a chance for a few showers.

This Afternoon: Mostly Cloudy, Warm

Highs: Mid 50s to Mid 60s | Wind: Variable 4-8 m.p.h.

Overnight: Mostly Cloudy, Showers Possible

Lows: 40s to Near 50 | Wind: NE 4-8 m.p.h.

Tuesday: Mostly Cloudy, Showers Possible

Highs: Mid 50s | Wind: E 4-8 m.p.h.

A frontal boundary remains overhead with cloudy skies and mild temperatures expected the rest of the day. Highs should range between the mid 50s north and west of town to the mid 60s south of town. Tonight, showers will be possible, otherwise expect cloudy skies with lows in the 40s in the suburbs to near 50 degrees in town.

Tuesday will continue to have a chance for showers with highs a bit cooler in the mid 50s. An area of low pressure will finally push through the region on Wednesday. Ahead of the associated cold front, temperatures should be warm, pushing back into the mid 60s. Behind the front, skies will begin to partially clear, winds will become breezy and temperatures will cool by Wednesday evening and night.

Thanksgiving Day should feature mostly sunny skies, seasonal temperatures in the 50s and breezy winds out of the north around 10 to 15 m.p.h. High pressure will filter back in overhead Friday and Saturday allowing for warmer temperatures in the lower 60s under mostly sunny skies.
