A few snow showers will be possible this evening as an area of low pressure skirts by to the south.

Cloudy skies and cool temperatures will remain this afternoon and the chance for a few light rain or snow showers will increase this afternoon and evening as an area of low pressure moves towards the region from the west. I think the timing will be anywhere from 5pm to around Midnight, so don't be surprised if you see a few flakes or rain showers on your commute home tonight. The highest liklihood will be south of D.C. and no accumulation is expected. Lows will fall into the 30s.
Saturday, a reinforcing cold shot will move into the region in the afternoon, ensuring cooler temperatures to hang around with highs in the mid 40s. Northwesterly winds will be breezy at times around 10 to 15 m.p.h. Sunday, a weak disturbance will move into the area in the morning hours which may make for a few flurries. Places to the north and west of the D.C. metro will have the best chance to see flurries. Otherwise, expect partly sunny skies with highs in the low to mid 40s.
