A minor weather disturbance produced widespread cloudiness and scattered flurries and snow showers. As skies clear overnight, temperatures will tumble. But warmer temperatures will return tomorrow and will hang around through New Year’s Day. There is a chance of a few showers later Sunday as a strong cold front approaches the area. I guess the most interesting part of this forecast centers around that cold front.
By Monday, we expect to see strong winds and falling temperatures. In fact, on Tuesday and Wednesday, high temperatures will just barely get above freezing. This is not a cold wave in the making…just a quick cold snap. High temperatures will warm back above average by the end of next week.
