Gray but warm today with heavy rain tonight
Thursday: Filtered AM Sun, Then Mostly Cloudy, Warm
Highs: Near 60° | Wind: NW to S 3-6
Overnight: Rain, Heavy @ Times
Lows: 48°-56° | Wind: E 5-10 mph
Tomorrow Afternoon: Becoming Partly Cloudy, Cooler
Highs: Around 50° | Wind: N 10 mph
The warmer than average temperature trend will continue through the holiday weekend. In addition, so will the storminess. As one storm exited overnight, the next storm is already approaching from the southwest. There will be filtered morning sunshine but the clouds will be on the increasing clouds with rain, possibly heavy at times, by tonight. There could be up to an 1 inch of rain by Friday morning.
The weather will improve tomorrow with cooler highs near 50°. Christmas Eve will be partly cloudy with more clouds than sun with another disturbance ejecting from the southwest Christmas Day while a cold front sails in from the west. Most of the moisture with the southern storm will likely stay south... but the cold front looks to move through late Christmas Day, with the chance of a late-day shower. Have a good day.
