With the rain from yesterday long gone, high pressure will build across the area today bringing a chill to the air along with gusty winds. Highs will generally be in the lower to middle 40s, with colder temperatures in the mountains. The wind will ease during the evening hours with a few passing clouds. Lows will generally be in the 20s and 30s.
Sunshine and cool temperatures are expected on Thursday and Friday with high temperatures ranging from the upper 40s to lower 50s.
At this time, the New Year's weekend forecast calls for partly cloudy skies with temperatures well above seasonal averages.
